I am a native of Charleston, SC and currently the School Counseling Director at Charleston County School of the Arts in North Charleston, SC. I entered the field of Education as a School Counselor in 2005. I’ve loved being a member of PSSCA and enjoy serving as a member of the Board of Directors and Finance Director of Operations. My passion is to not only provide my students with support and resources, but also to do the same and advocate for other School Counselors and Educators. I continue to look forward to being able to bring the advocacy as a School Counselor beyond my building and district, to the state level as a board member. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of South Carolina, and Master of Education degree in Counselor Education as well as a certification in Student Affairs from The Citadel. I am also a Global Career Development Facilitator. I look forward to continuing the work to strengthen our profession.
